LAS VEGAS TO ORLANDO: NAPDRT ON THE ROAD

By Mike Wahl, NAPDRT President

SEMA—what a show! Well, we are back to work after spending a few days at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. NAPDRT had a busy schedule, attending meetings, seminars, receptions and networking with others in the automotive industry.

The show is enormous—if you’ve never been, it can be overwhelming—and there is a lot to see, do and learn. There are even two sections, Tools and Equipment and Restyling and Car Care, which are of special interest to people in our segment of the industry.

I’m really excited with the direction of our industry and where we will be in the future. Which brings me to Mobile Tech Expo in Orlando.

NAPDRT is now focusing on getting things ready for January and MTE. It’s an excellent time for all of us to get together, share our thoughts and hear what’s going on with your association. Join us on Thursday, January 30 for our annual NAPDRT State of the Industry. Members of our board of directors will be on hand to talk about new ideas, answer questions and address issues of the day.

On Friday, January 31, the NAPDRT Board will host “What’s New at MTE 2020.” An opportunity to learn firsthand about some of the new tools, technologies and techniques showcased at MTE. And be sure to visit the NAPDRT booth on the Show floor. I hope to see and meet everyone at the Show.
