2020 Mobile Tech Expo held in Orlando, Florida, January 30 – February 1, offers up a once-a-year chance to take advantage of educational offerings specifically tailored to the paintless dent repair, detailing and recon market segments.

The MTE education sessions are segmented by subject matter into six tracks including Business, Detailing, PDR, Digital Marketing, Products, and sessions presented by IDA.  With over 60 sessions being offered, attendees will receive information and resources to improve business practices, sharpen technical skills, refine marketing and sales strategies, create new revenue streams and boost profitability.  Along with the education sessions, MTE exhibitors will also offer Product Information sessions.

The Business track consists of six sessions, including “Found Money Through Operations Excellence,” presented by Jody Sedrick of Zenware RoadFS. Marketing and business-management expert Karl Stearns is presenting four sessions, among them, “Increasing Sales: Roadmap and Toolkit For Growth.”

The Detailing track includes seven sessions centered on new surfaces to tackle, new and improved products to achieve superior results, and proven techniques to becoming a master detailer. Mike Phillips, Autogeek director of training, will share his knowledge and expertise in a series of seven sessions, including “Short Stroke vs Long Stroke Orbital Polishers – Differences & Benefits.”

International Detailing Association (IDA) has developed seven sessions, including “Profiting Packaging & Pricing,” presented Justin Labato, CD-SV, RT. Other sessions include “Boat’s & RV’s – Oxidation Removal Made Easy” with Jason Rose, CD-SV, RT, and “Wet Sanding 101 – The Do’s and Don’ts and Spot Repair” with David Patterson, CD-SV.

The PDR track of three sessions covers a range of core topics. In “PDR – Pretty Damn Repetitive? – Learn Body Mechanics, Breathing, Stretching, and More,” Dave Streen of EdgyTools will dive into how posture and positions for pushing dents and certain tools can ease the physicality of PDR.

Digital Marketing, also known as data driven marketing, is featuring four tracks with topics including “Smart Marketing with a Smart Phone Speaker” and “What’s New at MTE 2020.”

The five Products sessions cover a range of areas that can enhance your business. Sessions include “Deep Leather Cleaning & Perforated Leather Repair,” “Efficiency – Paint Correction Done Faster,” and “Adding Windshield Repair to Boost Your Revenue.”

Mobile Tech Expo, in its 19^th year, is the premier showcase for the paintless dent repair, detailing and automotive mobile service industries. It features a full day of educational seminars and workshops and two days on the expo floor where hundreds of booths and exhibitors will present their products and information.  Mobile Tech Expo is the home of the only International PDR Dent Olympics.
